Polar Night Along the Reindeer Path

Private evening reindeer safari! This is a night to remember! After a short car drive, you’ll arrive at a local reindeer farm where we start our reindeer adventure. Travel through forests sitting comfortably in a reindeer sleigh in search of the Northern Lights that paint the sky in shades of green above us. After the ride a hot cup of coffee with a bun is served around a campfire.

Snowmobiling & Ice Fishing

Drive a snowmobile to the frozen lakes in the forest for one of the best experiences in Lapland. Try the art of ice fishing after your snowmobile adventure and savor a Lappish barbecue.

Jump on your snowmobile and head through the winter wonderland to the frozen wilderness lake in the middle of the forest. Your professional ice fishing guide will teach you how to lure the fish from under the ice with your special ice fishing gear. Enjoy the silence and tranquility of the winter nature. Warm up by campfire with hot drinks.

Rakas Restaurant & Bar, located in the main building of Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, charms with its unique ambiance and menu of meals made from local ingredients prepared with a modern twist. As you sit by the beckoning fireplace beneath the pine cone lamps, the delicious flavors will create out-of-the-ordinary and divinely tasty moments.

Snowman World Winter Zone & Lunch in Snow Hotel

Enjoy a unique snow and ice world, situated in Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle.

In Snowman World Winter Zone you can visit the Ice Restaurant and Ice Bar. Winter Zone offers fun activities for kids and the young at heart. You can slide down daring hills, try ice skating and take part in other fun activities together with our snowman characters.

Private Gingerbread Masterclass with Santa!

Enter the enchanting Christmas fairytale you read about in stories when you were a child!

Let the Elves lead you to Santa’s secret Forest Hut, where the air smells of Christmas treats and the walls are bursting with Elf secrets to be told. Take part in the masterclass of building and decorating the smallest gingerbread house you have ever seen, and enjoy the company of Elves as you sip on a cup of hot cocoa by the fire. And soon you might just hear the footsteps of the jolly man himself!

Sleep on a transparent bed made from snow and ice!

The Snow Hotel is a  spectacularly handsome building carved each year to be different in appearance. The walls and furniture surfaces of the unique rooms are decorated with ice art and illuminated artwork. The room temperature is 0–5C°, but using the sleeping bags intended for extreme conditions combined with reindeer furs, you can be sure you will stay in warmth and comfort. On the shores of the lake the moonlight, stars and Northern Lights illuminate the silent, Lappish nature. As our guest you will have a good night’s sleep as the Aurora Alarm searches the skies for you.

Private Family Husky Safari

Today you will visit a tiny husky farm owned by a local family near Rovaniemi, where the huskies are not just dogs, but also partners and family members! The old farm with restored buildings is located 13 km out of town, on a beautiful lakeshore, with picturesque scenery all around. This combined with the nature-valuing lifestyle of the family living there makes the atmosphere truly special and welcoming.

Once at the farm you meet the special furry friends who will pull your sled for you during the safari. You will learn how to drive sled and have your own dog team to go. The sled ride covers easy ground across the lake and into the forest with a distance of about 10 km
depending on the weather conditions and your skills.

After the ride we will warm up in the family home, delicious pancakes are served and lots of stories about the huskies shared!

Ice Floating in the Arctic

Come and experience the lightness of your body during the arctic ice floating! Don’t fear the cold as you are totally protected with high quality rescue suit. Let your body and mind float, enjoy this frozen adventure. This guided adventure is safe with a high-quality rescue suit that covers your whole body and keeps you dry. As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. Lying down in the frozen lake between the ice blocks is something worth trying, the circumstances truly are arctic!
