Each Classic Room measures 279 square feet, and features a 65-square-foot private terrace or balcony with seating for two. Perched above the lagoon, our overwater Le Lotus Restaurant doubles as the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa’s most gourmet and romantic dining outlet. From noon to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each evening, dine on Le Lotus’ creative gastronomy in an intimate and elegant atmosphere, complemented by fine French wines. Chef Bruno Oger is working on the development of fresh menus and, along with chef Jacques di Guisto, supervising the execution of new dishes and the training of the culinary staff. Mr. Eric Descazaux, manager of La Villa Archange, chef Oger’s celebrated gastronomic restaurant in the south of France, will train the Le Lotus service team.

There is nowhere more idyllic to appreciate authentic Tahitian-style cuisine than our main restaurant Te Tiare, overlooking the resort’s infinity pools and waterfalls. Breakfast begins at 6 a.m., and service continues with an all-day menu full of light, summery dishes. Our extensive offerings range from light snacks and salads to freshly caught fish and top cuts of meat imported from New Zealand. Every day except Sunday we set up a healthy salad bar for lunch, and guests have the option of selecting their favorite ingredients for a custom-made stir-fried wok dish. Poised on Motu Tevairoa, only a ten-minute boat ride from the airport and fifteen minutes across the lagoon from the village of Vaitape, Le Bora Bora combines heavenly location and proximity to the mainland. The resort boasts authentic Polynesian style and architecture and certainly offers some of the most traditionally designed rooms and villas in Bora Bora.
There are three restaurants and two bars, and cuisine is international with a Polynesian twist. At the TĀVAI Spa, the islands’ generous nature has been captured to create decadent treatments that will rejuvenate and renew.
