Day 1-2 (2-Nights) Lake Como, Italy
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Grand Hotel Plinius was the name given to this spectacular building when it was constructed in 1898. The engineer Giuseppe Salvioni originally drafted the proposal, and the young architect Federico Frigerio created the magnificent decoration on the top level. It stood out from the other hotels in the city as a grand palace on the lakeside with Belle Epoque decor and contemporary conveniences.
Sadly, the two World Wars occurred while Como was gradually opening up to tourism and the hotel shuttered and reopened multiple times. It underwent renovations and had new owners take it. The name was changed to “Palace Hotel” in 1992, and the Congress Center and adjacent Pianella wing were added, increasing the number of rooms available. Since 2005, the renowned Villa d’Este organization has been in charge of running the hotel.
Currently, the Palace Hotel’s two designs flawlessly blend the past, present, and a glimpse into the future.

Hotel Flamingo Resort is a 4-star hotel located directly by the sea with a private beach of white sand in Santa Margherita di Pula, one of the best holiday destinations in south Sardinia.
It is located in a peaceful spot within a eucalyptus forest in which to seek freshness in the hottest hours of the day, at a stone’s throw from the sandy beach.
A romantic beach hotel… ideal also for a honeymoon or romantic vacation.
The Wellbeing spa center offers massages with essential oils, and excellent quality restaurants, among which the recently opened Wild Duck, making this hotel in Pula just the place for a romantic getaway or for a nuptial trip.

Half-day Tour of Cagliari’s Highlights and the San Benedetto Market
Visit the largest fish market in Europe to meet the locals and experience the Sardinian culture firsthand.
Walking through the historic areas of Cagliari, La Marina, and Castello until we arrive at the San Benedetto indoor market is one of the most engaging ways to learn about our customs and culture.
Taste the local cuisine as you stroll through the chaotic and vibrant stands. I can translate for you what the fishermen yell in Sardinian at the tourists. The way they try to win over clients by displaying fresh fish is very amusing and entertaining. A singular experience!
Tour by sailboat to the Maddalena Archipelago from Santa Teresa di Gallura
